The Johnson County Historical Society and the Antique Car Museums have new facilities in the lower level of the Arena facility along with additional mixed-use retail. In addition to the Arena, there are many other functions in the facility including GreenState Family Fieldhouse, which is large enough for five basketball courts. The facility has the flexibility to host a number of athletic events and tournaments, from wrestling and basketball to indoor football and soccer, in addition to concerts, comedians, and special events such as graduation ceremonies.
The Arena is home to the University of Iowa Women’s volleyball team. A single full-size sheet of ice supports the demands of an ECHL Hockey team, University of Iowa Women’s Club Hockey Team, and youth hockey clubs. Xtream Arena is a multi-purpose facility. (In the Iowa River Landing District on the corner of E 9th Street and E 2nd Avenue).
